We are hiring a Bookkeeper (fully remote) to provide bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting services to our clients. This individual will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer, Staff Accountants, and other bookkeepers on the team to help deliver our services. A strong candidate will have strong experience in accounting and bookkeeping, financial reporting, and time management. This position is part-time, with varying hours from week to week, and will report to the Chief Accounting Officer of finairo.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with Chief Accounting Officer and Staff Accountants to deploy new client services and design client-specific Playbooks
• Establish and maintain a constant feedback and communication loop with clients and the finairo team through email, Slack, Zoom, etc.
• Work with the client and finairo team to rectify any potential errors or exceptions during the monthly close process
• Streamline bookkeeping, accounting, and monthly close processes to be as efficient and accurate as possible
• Help execute systems projects, including new financial software (e.g. getting a new client set up on Quickbooks Online or a new billing solution)
